Sandra has her Bachelor of Arts with an Art Major and has been designing for more than 20 years. She began her career as a manual layout artist for a commercial printing company; then moved onto computer graphic design. This extensive background in the print industry has taught Sandra complete capability in creating economical, print-ready files — able to meet both timeframes and budgets. In 2000, she started Signet Studio, and at the same time joined Thompson Rivers University and worked her way up to senior graphic designer in the Marketing & Communications department. Her husband and partner, Dave Verhoeff provides the technical expertise for web design, as well as the general management and correspondence of the company.

In 2009 Sandra turned her attention full time to Signet Studio.
